Canada is naturally a little wary these days of listeria, and especially wary of lunchmeat, which was the source of several deaths due to listeriosis.

Today, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency announced that Hygaard Fine Foods was recalling sixteen of its ready-made sandwich brands due to possible listeria contamination, which the company discovered itself.

No illnesses were reported associated with these sandwiches.
