The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is warning the public not to consume KingFisher brand cantaloupes because they may be contaminated with salmonella. Imported from the U.S., the cantaloupes were distributed in Ontario from May 16 to June 2.
No illnesses have been associated with the cantaloupes as yet.

After over 50 illnesses in the U.S. and nine in Canada, the FDA has issued a warning on cantaloupe coming from Honduras processed by a company called Agropecuaria Montelibano.
