COOKIES RECALLED NATIONWIDE

Koala March Cookies
The Lotte Company, Battle Creek, Michigan, is recalling all of its Koala March cookies because they were manufactured in China and “may” contain melamine.
The cookies were distributed nationwide and in Canada. The recall includes nine different brands, according to the FDA.

MILK RECALLED DUE TO MELAMINE

HUA XIA, Flushing, New York, is recalling boxes of YILI Brand Sour Milk Drink because it may be contaminated with melamine.

Tristar Food, New Jersey, is recalling its nationwide distribution of all 100ml bottles of Blue Cat  (Lanmao) Flavor Drink because FDA testing revealed the product contained melamine.

CADBURY PULLS CHOCOLATES FOR POSSIBLE MELAMINE CONTAMINATION

Cadbury said this morning that it was recalling all 11 of its chocolate products made in China over concern that they could be contaminated with melamine.

CHINA’S FOOD-SAFETY CHIEF RESIGNS IN WAKE OF POISONED MILK SCANDAL

After a cancer-causing agent, melamine, was found in no less than 22 different Chinese companies’ milk products, the head of the country’s food-safety agency has resigned.
So far, 53,000 children infants have been sickened by the tainted formula.
